  3. If you register via the author, you can only register via postal mail. Registering via Kagi gives you more possibilities (pay with a creditcard or order via e-mail or fax). See the "How to register via Kagi" file for details.

  17. If you live in Europe:

  19. You can send cash (BEF, USD or your home-currency), a Eurocheque (BEF) or a normal cheque (in your home-currency).
  20. The Eurocheque must be made payable in Belgian Franks (BEF) and the Eurocheck cardnumber must be on the back. The fee is 650 BEF. If you order 2 or more copies, the fee is 500 BEF for each copy. A site license costs 5000 BEF.
  21. If you don't have Eurocheques you can send a normal cheque drawn in the currency of the country in which your bank is located. Due to the costs banks charge me for cashing a cheque, I have to ask you an extra US$ 15. This is not needed for Eurocheques.

  25. You can send cash (BEF, USD or your home-currency), an International Money Order (no extra charges) or a normal check (in your home-currency).
  26. If you send a normal check, please add $15 to the shareware fee to cover costs involved when cashing a foreign check. Remember that the check has to be drawn in the currency of the country in which your bank is located.

  30. If you want to pay in your home currency make sure the amount is worth 650 Belgian Francs for a single copy, 500 BEF for each copy if you order 2 or more copies or 5000 BEF for a site-licence. Ask your Bank for the exchange rate or drop me a mail at maes@kagi.com.

From contacts with people in the USA, I learned many people don't pay shareware fees because they think it is a hassle to get money to Europe. It isn't ! The simplest way (for rather small fees, say less than $50), is to send cash. My experience tells me this is a very reliable method, and I never had any trouble with it. Put the money inside a piece of paper (the registration form) and put it in a firm envelope, so that you can't see it when you hold the envelope to the light. Send the letter by air mail.

  38. The basic fee for the first copy of FindText is US$ 20 (or BEF 650).

  40. For two or more copies, you pay US$ 15 (or BEF 500) for each copy (you pay for the number of users who can run FindText simultaneous).
  41. E.g.: If you order 3 copies of FindText you have to send me US$ 45 (3 x $15).
